<description>Light, darkness. Good, evil, Creation, destruction. Love, hatered. Two sides war and to those caught in the midst of the fray it matters little what motivates these powers which sap the life from their lands. In the case of the Sisters one has a difficult time determining which side, if any, is actually on the side of goodness. When those upon the periphery of conflict find themselves lying in a morgue labled as collateral damage the families and the wailers concerned therein debate not the motivation or the tactics of the one which killed their loved one. So then is motivation enough to determine the nature of a character? Is it enough to say that he or she donates this much in resources to care for the poor or the downtrodden? If not is it meet then that one should be called rightous because of the sacrifices which they themselves have made to uplift those about them which are incapable to do otherwise? If one takes that which belongs to another whose barns are full to capacity and uses that ill gotten bounty to the benefit of those without is not the act of separation of said goods justified in the motives of the true heart?
Men have labored for millenia to determine not only the guilt of various perpatraitors, but more importantly the level of wickedness to which they have sunk in the crimes to which they have been convicted. In this act some have been selected to arbitrate and to subsequently ensure the impartiality of a system which decides who or whom it is that has violated the code of the given society. But not simply the code rather the depth to which it was breached and the future ramifications upon society. And once it has been decided by some form of imperfect analysis that some person or persons, having breached the ethical guidelines of the imperfect body pollitick, then set the dogs upon these that their woe might deter any future perpetrators from delving deeper into the horrors of the human condition.
Before we determine which of us is the wicked one, let us first decide if we either one could ever be called rightous.
